Catechist Preschool through Grade 6
Prepare, research, develop and present the weekly lesson, according to the Catechist Manual and resources provided by the Religious Education Office, as well as direct supervision of students. The catechist is responsible for attending all catechist meetings for their respective grade levels. Catechists are also encouraged to attend catechist certification classes. Classes meet on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:00 p.m. or 6:30-8:00 p.m. during the school year. Contact June Parisi at 815/459-3096.

Classroom Aide Preschool through Grade 2
Assists the catechist in classroom management and assists catechist and students as needed. If the catechist is absent, the aide is expected to teach the class. Classes meet on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:00 p.m. or 6:30-8:00 p.m. during the school year. Contact June Parisi - 815/459-3096

Auxilliary Personnel
Assist the program in ways other than weekly teaching. This includes: hall monitors, substitute teachers, and child care workers. Contact June Parisi - 815/459-3096

Parking/Traffic Personnel
Assure the safety of the children as they arrive and depart in the South High School parking lot by enforcing traffic policies. Contact June Parisi - 815/459-3096

Office Assistance
Assist with preparation of classroom materials on a weekly basis. Volunteers are also needed at various times during the year for special projects. This position is for both Religious Education and Youth Ministry, as needed. Contact Patti Scronce 815-459-3096
