We are participating in the Catholics Come Home initiative with the Rockford Diocese. Our desire is to invite any Catholics who may have become disconnected back in to the life of the Church. For various reasons, Catholics who were once involved have fallen away. We all know the world is full of imperfect people, but at the heart of the Church is the person of Jesus Christ who said He would be with us until the end of time. On behalf of our parish and the whole Church, we would like to welcome you back.
For those who would like to return, here are some ways to come home:
-
Start attending Mass again.
-
If you have faith struggles, need adult Sacramental preparation, or would like to talk to a priest, please feel free to call the Parish Office at 815-459-3033.
-
If your children need Sacramental preparation or religious instruction, please feel free to call the parish Religious Education Office at 815-459-3096
-
Starting Thursday, February 27th we will be offering a six week program called 'Catholics Returning Home'. The program is designed to help those who have been away transition back into the Church. It will help those who have issues with the Church or who want to update their knowledge about our beliefs. Please call the Parish Office to register.
