Join us on Wednesday, September 1st for a one day pilgrimage to Milwaukee. Our first stop will be St. Josaphat’s Basilica– a Franciscan center for prayer and spirituality, Patterned after St. Peter’s in Rome. We will celebrate our own private Mass, have time for quiet prayer and visit the (2) Catholic Gift shops at the Basilica. Our second stop will be the Monastery of the Sisters of St. Francis. We will have time in their unbelievably beautiful chapel & will join with the Franciscan Sisters in noon time prayer. The sepulchre under the Sacred Heart altar contains a gold casket encasing the bones of St. Leoninus. We will then head to German Town for lunch at the world famous MADER’S German Restaurant! There will be time after lunch to shop and browse in German Town before the bus ride back. The cost is $70 for the tour, lunch and transportation on an air-conditioned coach bus with a bathroom and a microphone! Fr. Grady will lead us in prayer while traveling!
